Gran Hotel Cantera La Plaza

This is the greatest hotel in all of border towns of Mexico. I absolutely lost my mind - I was in shock at the warmth, cleanliness, accessibility, and options of entertainment at the hotel. Wifi obviously is free, works so good my business partner was able to stream games on his laptop. 18 mbps and we were in the middle of the hotel. The room was almost too big. It was ridiculous. There's a fridge and microwave. The bathroom is exquiste. It was absolutely fantastic. Especially the shuttle service for free to anywhere we wanted in Nuevo Laredo (upon checkout)

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is clean, everything looks very nice, bed was comfortable, bedding was clean and in good condition. My only negative observations were in regards to maintenance. No major issues, but several minor items. My room was missing a lightbulb from one of the lamps and the light in the shower was inoperable. Also, the very nice showerhead was plugged up so that it basically dripped from the edges rather than actually sprayed the water out. These few items can be very easily rectified and if they worked properly, this review would be 5 stars. I intend to stay here again on my next visit to Nuevo Laredo.

Love this hotel. Best service. Clean and safe hotel. Everything was perfect. I stayed for more than 2 weeks and they gave me one free night whenever i wanted to come again.

You won't believe how beautiful it is until you walk inside! It's amazing! The staff are attentive, respectful, and treat you like family. It's flat out spectacular! My wife and I love this place! Thank you Real Cantera Salon!

Okay so here it goes! I've been to a couple hoteles in my time but this one takes the cake! The reviews mentioning that this place is clean are an understatement as this place is sparkling clean! I could literally hear the squeaking coming from my socks from their beautiful floors! And lastly, the towels were nice and firm which says alot from a hotel in my opinion. I highly recommend this place!

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and have had a good experience with them. Their hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the plaza. The rooms are modern and spacious, the bed firm and lots of comfy pillows. Both Alejandro and Gabriel provided attentive customer service. Best of all, their prices are very fair and are a good value. Please continue to support local businesses like Gran Hotel Cantera!

First of all I want to speak of the surroundings of the hotel, it is going through some renovations and the entrance is a bit rough and the surrounding Street is also going through some repairs, the hotel is located on the third floor and their is an elevator that will take you there easily check-in process was simple price was great and the room was very nice place was clean and the food was great. I'm giving it five stars because the hotel itself is great although the surroundings as I mentioned previously are going through some renovations.
